Can I use iron patches to customize the bag?
While the Venture Canvas Backpack has a durable canvas padded design, we are unable to determine all variables such as the heat from the iron and type of patch. Thus, we cannot confirm that the iron patch will damage the bag. Therefore, we highly recommend using sewn on patches instead for best results.
Please also note that while we do have a manufacturing warranty in place, it is meant for manufacturing defects such as shoulder straps tearing, zippers not working, etc. Unfortunately, damages from daily use, wear and tear, or modifications are not covered under the terms of the limited warranty.
Cleaning tips
To clean a canvas bag or backpack, the best method is to hand wash it with a mild detergent and warm water, gently scrubbing stains with a soft brush, and then allow it to air dry completely; for stubborn stains, spot clean with a diluted soap solution before washing the entire bag.
