Operating Instructions
1.) Connect the SonaVERSE USB cable to your computer's/laptop's USB port; wait for the automatic drivers to download
2.) Position the SonaVERSE USB LED Speaker to your preference
*Note you can turn the LED's ON/OFF using the LED switch on the back of the speaker*
3.) Select the speaker as your defaulted audio device in 'Playback Devices'; choose the music you want to rock out to and adjust your sound as needed

Troubleshooting:
- The USB audio connection cable may not be securely plugged into an active USB port; inspect and unplug then plug back in.
- Does disconnecting the USB cord then reinserting the cord solve the problem?
- Trying plugging the USB cable into a different USB port.
- Does changing to a different USB port power the speakers on?
- Your computer may not be on or is in sleep mode.
- Was the computer off or in sleep mode?
- Try using a USB AC powered wall adapter to see if you can get power to the LED Clip-On Speaker
- **Note, you will be unable to get any audio in doing this but you can tell if there is power by attempting to switch the LED's ON/OFF
- Are the LED's illuminating?
SonaVERSE USB LED Clip-On Speaker has bad sound quality
Troubleshooting:
- Make sure that your computer/laptop is adjusted to a loud enough volume level
- Remember that there is no volume wheel on the speaker and you will have to adjust audio on your device as well as the video/application you're listening to
- Keep your audio device at 80-90% volume for best sound transmission

- Verify that all cables are plugged into the proper ports and that your device is completely connected.
- Does disconnecting any cords or removing from the dock, then reinserting solve the problem?
- Try using different audio sources to make sure the speaker is functioning correctly and that the problem is not being caused by your audio device.
- Does the issue persist even if an alternative audio source is used?
- Allow up to 8 hours of playtime for the speaker to 'wear-in' to achieve the best audio quality
SonaVERSE USB LED Clip-On Speaker powers on but there is no sound
Troubleshooting:
- Computer volume or media volume may be turned down or is on mute.
- Does turning up the volume on the computer or speaker solve the problem?
- The music source on the computer is paused or not playing.
- Was the music paused?
- If the speaker is powering on but not playing audio or the audio continues to come from the computer speakers, the speaker settings will need to be changed
If your settings need to be changed, follow the below instructions on how to Select your SonaVERSE USB LED Clip-On Speaker as your defaulted audio device:
Go to your computers task bar > right click on the Speaker icon > select Play Back Device from the menu.
From the Play Back Device menu, select the device to play back the audio. The connected audio devices will be listed such as a headset or USB Audio Device (SonaVERSE speaker). This is how one toggles between multiple speaker devices.
For Skype, use the Audio & Video Settings menu to select the connected Microphone (headset) from the drop down menu and the Speaker (headset OR speaker). From GTM use the Settings menu to select the Microphone (headset) and Speaker (headset OR speaker).
If using Skype with the headset set as both the microphone AND speaker, the connected USB speaker is still active for the computer (if selected in the computers task bar) for playback such music played on YouTube.
If using Zoom, go to your Audio Settings and make sure you select the speaker as your Output and then select your Microphone for the input
If using with a Mac, if you are not getting any sound when plugged in via USB, please try the following:
- Click on the Apple icon in the top left hand corner of your screen.
- Select system preferences
- Select the Sound option
- Inside the sound panel, click on output at the top of the panel in the middle.
- Click on USB Audio Device to change sound output from Internal Speakers to USB Audio Device.
If using with a PC, if you are not getting any sound when plugged in via USB, please try the following:
1. Go to Start
2. Go to Control Panel
3. Sounds and Audio Devices
4. Under Volume Tab, where it says Speaker Settings, go to Advanced
5. In Advanced Audio Properties, select Laptop Stereo Speakers
If the above does not help:
1. Under Sounds and Audio Devices, go to the Hardware tab
2. Find the Speaker and select Troubleshoot
If you are trying to listen to music via iTunes, go back to the system preferences, and click on Quicktime.
- Inside the Quicktime settings change sound output from Internal Speakers to USB Audio Device.
- Go to Start
- Go to Control Panel
- Sounds and Audio Devices
- Under Volume Tab, where it says Speaker Settings, go to Advanced
- In Advanced Audio Properties, select Laptop Stereo Speakers
Does the SonaVERSE USB LED Clip-On Speaker have a built-in microphone?
The USB Clip-On Speaker does not have a built-in microphone. It is for audio ONLY.
