- Please make sure the BlueSYNC RST is plugged into power. The speaker should turn on once connect to a power source.
- When plugged in, does the speaker turn on?
- Try plugging the power adapter into a different wall outlet.
- Does switching outlets allow the BlueSYNC RST to come on?
- Make sure the plug coming from the wall is securely plugged into the back of the BlueSYNC RST.
- If you remove and then reinserted the plug into the back of the speaker, does it power on?
- Make sure you're plugging the AC adapter into the port on the right of the speaker marked DC 5V, do not plug the adapter into the port on the left marked AUX.
- Was the AC adapter plugged into the correct port?

Troubleshooting:
When you want to use the AUX port on the back of the BlueSYNC RST, make sure you have pressed the SOURCE button until AUX shows on the LCD screen.
- Using the AUX cable that came with the speaker, plug one end into your device and the other end into the back of the speaker into the port marked AUX and press play on your device.
- Does music come from the BlueSYNC RST?
- If no sound is heard, unplug all connections and then plug them back in making sure the connections are plugged all the way in. Remove any case or skin covering your device as it can prevent a good connection.
- Does removing a case or skin and plugging everything back in solve the problem?
- Make sure the volume is turned up on your device.
- Do you hear sound now?
- Try using a different device then the one you have been trying.
- Is sound heard when a different device is plugged into the AUX?
- If you have another AUX cable beside the one which can with the speaker, please try it.
- Do you hear sound when a different AUX cable is used?

Pairing:
- Power the BlueSYNC RST on and the speaker will automatically be in pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth symbol on the LCD screen.
- For NFC enabled devices, make sure NFC is enabled and then tap your device over the NFC logo. A prompt on your device will appear asking you to confirm connection with the speaker.
- For devices not enabled with NFC tap to pair technology, go into the Bluetooth settings menu, make sure the Bluetooth is turned on, and tap "SCAN" to search for the speaker.
- The speaker will appear in the pair able device list as BLUESYNC RST, tap on it to connect.
- If you're prompted to enter a pin to connect, type in "0000".
- Once connected, your device will alert you that the connection was successful and show as "connected" to your device.
Were you able to pair your device to the BlueSYNC RST after following the steps above?
The BlueSYNC RST will pair to any Bluetooth enabled device using A2DP Bluetooth protocals. A2DP is most common in cell phones, mp3 players, tablets, and other mobile devices. A2DP is not common on computers, if trying to pair the BlueSYNC TYM to a computer, additonal drivers may need to be downloaded, or a A2DP Bluetooth USB dongle may need to be purchased. You can search for drivers online by performing a search for A2DP Bluetooth drivers specific to your computers operating system.

How to set the time:
- Press the TIME button on the rear of the clock to enable clock adjustment.
- Use the plus or minus buttons to just the 12/24 hour format, hours, and minutes.
- Press the TIME button to confirm each setting once changes have been made.
How to set the alarm:
- There are two types of alarms on the BlueSYNC RST. On the top of the clock the icons look like a bell with the number one or number two. The number one bell is for one time alarm, and the number two bell is for a daily repeating alarm.
- Press the button for the alarm type you want to set.
- Press the button again to select the alarm sound; RAD = Radio and BU = Buzzing alert.
- Press the "S" (source) button to set the alarm time and use the plus or minus buttons to adjust the hours and minutes.
- Press the "S" (source) button to confirm each of your hours and minutes selection.
- When the alarm is sounding, press the "Zzz" button to snooze the alarm button for 9 minutes.

- Many times the quality of your MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMV, MP4 or other music file can affect the quality of the sound being produced.
- Are all songs being listened sound bad, or only some of them?
- Please make sure that your audio file size and quality are to your expectations. Sometimes a small file will distort at high volume. Using high quality files that are larger in size will provide better sound quality.
- Does playing different file sizes yield different results?
- Please try turning the volume down on your device, and then on the BlueSYNC RST until there is no more distortion.
- Does turning down the volume solve the problem?
- Try playing music from a different device or by using a different application and or music that is stored on your device.
- Is the sound quality different when a different media source or application is used?
