Distorted sound is heard from the BlueSYNC RGD
Troubleshooting:
- Many times the quality of your MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMV, MP4 or other music file can affect the quality of the sound being produced. Please make sure that your music file is to the quality expected.
- Are all songs being listened to distorted with static or only some of them?
- Please make sure that your audio file size and quality are to your expectations. Sometimes a small file will distort at high volume. Using high quality files that are larger in size will provide better sound quality.
- Does playing different file sizes yield different results?
- Please try turning the volume down on your media device until there is no more distortion.
- Does turning down the volume solve the problem?
- Try playing music from a different device or by using a different application.
- Is the sound quality different when a different media source or application is used?

No sound from the BlueSYNC RGD
Troubleshooting for Bluetooth:
- Please make sure the speaker is powered on and paired to a device.
- Is the speaker powered on and paired to your device?
- Please make sure that the volume on your mobile device and the BlueSync RGD are turned up.
- Does changing the volume on the speaker or your paired device enable you to hear audio?
- Please make sure that your mobile Bluetooth device is within 30 feet of the BlueSync RGD. The maximum Bluetooth range may vary in different environments and on the paired device.
- If you move the device closer to the speaker, does sound come through?
- Please try paring more than one device to the speaker.
- Do you hear sound if a different device is paired?
Troubleshooting for AUX connection:
- The BlueSYNC RGD also has the option to connect to your device via 3.5 auxiliary cable.
- If you plug your device into the AUX port on the back of the BlueSYNC RGD, is sound heard?
- Please make sure the AUX cable is plugged securely into the back of the speaker and securely into your media device. If a case or skin is covering your device, please remove it.
- Are you getting sound from the speaker now?
- Please make sure that the volume on your device is turned up.
- Does changing the on you device enable you to hear audio?
- Please try plugging more than one device into the speaker.
- Do you hear sound if a different device is plugged in?

Pairing the BlueSYNC RGD via Bluetooth
How to pair the BlueSync RGD to a Bluetooth enabled device:
- Make sure that your mobile device is within at least 3 feet of the speaker when trying to pair and that the BlueSync RGD is powered on.
- Enter pairing mode on the BlueSync RGD by pressing and holding the pairing button (play/pause) for 3-5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue.
- Access the Bluetooth settings in your mobile device and select SEARCH/SCAN FOR DEVICES. Your mobile device will begin to search for a Bluetooth signal.
- You will see the name “BlueSync RGD” appear in the device list. Select it to pair, and if a password or PIN is needed enter the numbers “0000”. You may have to then select BlueSync RGD and press “CONNECT”.
- After a successful connection has been made, your device will say it is connected to the BlueSYNC RGD.

The BlueSYNC RGD is not charging
Troubleshooting:
- When the BlueSYNC RGD is plugged in to charge, the LED light will illuminate red.
- Is the LED illuminated red when the USB charging cable is plugged in?
- Charge the BlueSYNC RGD to full, charging should take 2 hours and the red LED will turn off when the battery is full.
- Does the LED turn off after about 2 hours of charging
- The BlueSYNC RGD uses a Micro USB cable for charging. If the speaker does not appear to be charging, please try the USB cable in a different USB port or different AC to USB adapter.
- Does the speaker start to charge if a different USB port or adapter is used?
- If the speaker is still not charging when plugged in and after trying a different USB port or adapter, please try using a different Micro USB cable if one is available.
- Does trying a different Micro USB cable allow the speaker to charge?
