- Press the UP button to switch between 12 / 24 hour format
- Press the TIME button to adjust the clock
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the blinking feature and the TIME button to confirm
- Press the UP & DOWN buttons together for 5 seconds to change the temperature display C˚/F.
- When blinking, press UP or DOWN to swtich between Celsius or Fahrenheit and then ALARM or TIME button to confirm.
How to set the alarm:
- The alarm has 3 settings . Press the DOWN button to switch between alarm functions
- ON ONCE - The LED alarm indicator will blink every 2 seconds
- ON EVERYDAY - The LED alarm indicator will be solid
- OFF - The LED alarm indicator will be off
- Press the ALARM button to adjust the alarm time
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the blinking feature and the ALARM button to confirm
- When the alarm is sounding (up to 1 hour), press any rear key (TIME/ALARM/UP/DOWN) to silence
- For SNOOZE function, refer to the button chart

- Many times the quality of your MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMV, MP4 or other music file can affect the quality of the sound being produced.
- Are all songs being listened sound bad, or only some of them?
- Please make sure that your audio file size and quality are to your expectations. Sometimes a small file will distort at high volume. Using high quality files that are larger in size will provide better sound quality.
- Does playing different file sizes yield different results?
- Please try turning the volume down on your device, and then on the BlueSYNC TYM until there is no more distortion.
- Does turning down the volume solve the problem?
- Try playing music from a different device or by using a different application and or music that is stored on your device.
- Is the sound quality different when a different media source or application is used?

Troubleshooting:
- Please make sure the BlueSYNC TYM is plugged in. The speaker should turn on once connect to a power source.
- When plugged in, does the speaker turn on?
- Try plugging the AC adapter into a different wall outlet.
- Does switching outlets allow the BlueSYNC TYM to come on?
- Make sure the plug coming from the wall is securely pluged into the back of the BlueSYNC TYM.
- If you remove and then reinstered the plug into the back of the speaker, does it power on?

Pairing:
- Turn Bluetooth on (pairing mode) by pressing and holding the button on the speaker that looks like a phone for 3 seconds.
- When the speaker is in pairing mode, you will hear two tones.
- From your Bluetooth enabled device, under it's Bluetooth settings, "scan" for a Bluetooth device.
- The BlueSYNC TYM will show up in the device list, select it for pairing.
- If a prompted to enter a PIN, use "0000".
- Once pairing is successful, your device will say it is connected to the BlueSYNC TYM.
- Press play on your music and enjoy!
Were you able to pair your device to the BlueSYNC TYM after following the steps above?
The BlueSYNC TYM will pair to any Bluetooth enabled device using A2DP Bluetooth protocals. A2DP is most common in cell phones, mp3 players, tablets, and other mobile devices. A2DP is not common on computers, if trying to pair the BlueSYNC TYM to a computer, additonal drivers may need to be downloaded, or a A2DP Bluetooth USB dongle may need to be purchased. You can search for drivers online by performing a search for A2DP Bluetooth drivers specific to your computers operating system.

Troubleshooting:
When you want to use the AUX port on the back of the BlueSYNC TYM, make sure there is not a device connected to the speaker via Bluetooth already.
- Using the AUX cable that came with the speaker, plug one end into your device and the other end into the back of the speaker into the port marked AUX and press play on your device.
- Does music come from the BlueSYNC TYM?
- If no sound is heard, unplug all connections and then plug them back in making sure the connections are plugged all the way in. Remove any case or skin covering your device as it can prevent a good connection.
- Does removing a case or skin and plugging everything back in solve the problem?
- Make sure the volume is turned up on your device.
- Do you hear sound now?
- Try using a different device then the one you have been trying.
- Is sound heard when a different device is plugged into the AUX?
- If you have another AUX cable beside the one which can with the speaker, please try it.
- Do you hear sound when a different AUX cable is used?

Troubleshooting making/taking a call:
- While listening to music with the BlueSYNC TYM, and connected to the speaker with a Bluetooth enabled phone, incoming calls can be answered by quickly pressing the button that looks like a phone.
- Does pressing the call button answer the call?
- Pressing the call button once you're done with the conversation will end the call, and the music should resume.
- Does pressing the call button again end the call and resume the music being played?
- To make a call, you must initiate the call from your phone. There is not a way to start a call from the speaker.
- Does initiating a call from your phone allow you to make a call?
Troubleshooting for microphone:
- There is a microphone on the speaker so that callers can hear you when you accept their phone call. If the caller says they cannot hear you, make sure your phone is paired to the BlueSYNC TYM for both MEDIA and PHONE under the Bluetooth settings menu found in your found for the paired device "BlueSYNC TYM".
- Does your phone show it is paired to the BlueSYNC TYM for both PHONE and MEDIA?
- If the BlueSYNC TYM was only connected via Bluetooth to the MEDIA portion of your phone, select the option in the Bluetooth settings of your phone so it is connected to both the PHONE and MEDIA.
- Can the callers here you now?
- If callers still cannot hear you, please try deleting the BlueSYNC TYM from your phone's paired device list, then pair to it all over again.
- Does delting and then pairing to the speaker again solve the problem?

Troubleshooting:

The thermometer may need some time to adjust before displaying the correct temperature. Please let the clock run for 24 hours to allow it to adjust. Unplug the BlueSYNC TYM, and then plug it back in.

After resetting the BlueSYNC TYM, allow 24 hours to elapse. Is the temperature reading more accurate now?

There may be a +/- two degree different between the actual temperature and what is displayed, this is normal.

Is the temperature reading within the two degree threshold?
