GGSVBX0110BKEW- Make sure the power switch is in the on position, the ON line needs to be lined up with the hash mark on the top of the speaker.
- Is the speaker in the ON position?
- If using with the USB cable for power, please make sure that USB power cable is connected to a functional powered USB port on your computer.
- Do other devices plugged into the same port work?
- Try the SonaVERSE BX in different USB ports.
- Does plugging into a different USB port allow the SonaVERSE BX to power on?
- If using the included battery for power, make sure the battery is inserted correctly, remove the battery then put it back in with the positive terminals closest to the ground.
- Does removing the battery and reinserting with correct polarity allow the speaker to turn on?
- Try charging the battery overnight with the included Mini USB power cord.
- Does the battery appear to take a charge, will the speaker turn on now?

- Many times the quality of your MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMV, MP4 or other music file can affect the quality of the sound being produced. Please make sure that your music file is to the quality expected.
- Are all songs being listened to distorted with static or only some of them?
- Please make sure that your MP3 file size and quality are to your expectations. Sometimes a small file will distort at high volume. Using high quality MP3 files that are larger in size will provide better sound quality.
- Does playing different file sizes yield different results?
- Please try turning the volume down on your device, and then on the SonaVERSE BX until there is no more distortion.
- Does turning down the volume solve the problem?
- Try playing music from a different device, memory card, or flash drive.
- Is the sound quality different when a different media source is used?

- Please make sure that the 3.5mm audio cable is properly connected to your devices headphone or speaker port. Make sure that your devices head phone volume is enabled and not muted.

- Are you connecting one of these devices, or do you have the SonaVERSE BX plugged into a media device?
- The SonaVERSE BX only has the ability to operate the Forward/Back/Play/Pause functions when the buttons are being pressed and using a memory card or flash drive.
- While using a memory card or flash drive, does pressing the Forward/Back/Play/Pause buttons work?

The charging light on the speaker is located in a small hole on the side of the speaker, right above the SD memory card slot.
This light may be hard to see because it is so small, please see the picture above. Is this where you're looking?
The light should glow red when the speaker is plugged in and charging, with the battery inserted into the speaker.
- If the battery is already inside the SonaVERSE BX, please make sure the battery is inserted correctly. Try removing the battery then putting it back in with the positive terminals closest to the ground.

- If a hum is still being experienced, please try unplugging the included 3.5mm. Please wipe clean with a dry cloth to remove any dust. Please reinsert the 3.5mm AUX making sure that the connection is firm.

- You can also try different media sources, i.e, please try a different media device, memory card, or flash drive.

- When using the USB drive function of the SonaVERSE BX, make sure all music files are of the .mp3 file type. Other files will not work.
- Are all files on the memory of the .mp3 type?
- In order for the music to play from a USB, the .mp3 files must be stored on the "root" of the memory device. This means the music cannot be in folders. It must be dragged into the main directory of the memory device.
- Are all the .mp3 files in the root directory, or does moving them to the root directory enable them to play?
- Make sure the USB drive being used is formatted. You may need to reformat the current device being used by plugging it into a computer, selecting its options, and choosing to format the memory device. Be sure to save any files currently on the memory device before formatting as they will be deleted. Also, when formatting if possible, choose the "FAT32" formatting type for best results.
- Is your memory device formatted or does the memory device work in the SonaVERSE BX after formatting?
