GGBGRCV100BKEW- Try disconnecting the coupler and then reconnecting it.
- Does this allow the volume to be adjusted?
- Pair the BlueGATE RCV to a different Bluetooth enabled device.
- Are you able to adjust volume when paired to a different device?
- Plug in a different pair of headphones into the coupler.
- Does this solve the volume adjustment problem?
- Lastly, try unpairing the BlueGATE RCV, clearing it from the device list, then pairing it again.
- Are you still not able to adjust the volume?
*** NOTE *** Volume of media being played can only be controlled directly through the paired device, if the headphones that are plugged into the coupler have inline controls they will not work.

How to pair the GOgroove BlueGATE RCV to a Bluetooth enabled device:
If the BlueGATE RCV is on, press and hold the power button until the light flashes red to turn it off.
1. From the off position, press and hold down the power button.
2. After 5 seconds, the led will start flashing red and blue.
3. With the light flashing blue and red, the BlueGATE RCV is now in pairing mode.
4. From your Bluetooth enabled device, go to bluetooth settings and turn on bluetooth.
5. While in the settings menu with bluetooth turned on select an option that allows you to scan for devices.
6. Your device should locate the transmitter named BLUEGATE RCV.
7. Click on BLUEGATE RCV to pair, if your device asks for a pin, enter "0000".
8. Once pairing is complete your device will say "connected".
9. When the receiver is connected to your media output device, press play and enjoy your music!
Were you able to pair the BlueGATE RCV to your device after following these steps?

- Please make sure that the volume is at an audible level on both the Bluetooth audio device and on the sound system. Audio is independently controlled by each device.
- Does changing the volume on the audio output and Bluetooth enabled device solve the issue?
- Check the sound system settings to ensure “AUX” or “Line-in” settings have been selected.
- Is AUX/Line in selected now, did that solve the issue?
- Please check the Bluetooth enabled device output settings. It should indicate that it is providing Bluetooth audio.
- Does your Bluetooth enabled device indicate that Bluetooth is being used?
- Be sure the BlueGATE RCV is securely connected into the 3.5mm AUX port of the sound system, remove and plug back in.
- Does removing the plug and then plugged back in securely solve the problem?

- To turn on the BlueGATE RCV press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds, release once the LED illuminates blue.
- Does pressing and holding the power button turn the BlueGATE RCV on?
- If the BlueGATE RCV does not turn on, please try charging it for 3 hours with the included micro USB cable.
- Does charging the BlueGATE RCV allow it to turn on?
- When the BlueGATE RCV is plugged in to charge the LED will glow red, when charging is complete the LED will turn off.
- Does the LED glow red when the BlueGATE RCV is plugged in?
- Try a different USB port if the LED indicator does not come on when plugged in.
- Does using a different USB port allow the BlueGATE RCV to charge?'
- The BlueGATE RCV uses a standard Micro USB cable, if trying a different USB port does not solve the problem, please try a different Micro USB cable if one is available.
- Does trying a different Micro USB cable solve the problem?
