Get ready to scream with delight as we recap the wickedly fun week of Halloween events, Oct 25-31, ingeniously named Halloweek. All leading up to the main event of Halloween 2023!
We kicked off the spooky festivities on Wednesday by painting itty bitty pumpkins. Our Staff's creative skills were so good, they were to-die-for!
Next, we put a thrilling spin on **water** pong with a Spooky Eye Toss that kept everyone on the edge of their broomsticks. Staff were broken down into teams of 4 and were tasked to get in all 24 spooky eyes into their pales with the fastest time. The stakes were high as each winning team member would receive a $10 Starbucks gift card. Ultimately, the Ghoul Crew consisting of Shane B, Emma, Steve D, and Gail were our Spooky Eye Toss champs, congrats you fiends!
Speaking of broomsticks, our Witch's Hat Ring Toss had everyone cackling with delight as they aimed for magical wins... and more Starbucks gift cards. You guessed it, whichever team had the most points accumulated after going through all 10 of their rings would win! Each hat was placed a few feet apart with more points earned the farther you go. The Fang Gang were able to take this event home. Congrats Brandon, Julie, Carlo, and Emma!
Monday still provided plenty of eerie excitement as all Staff had to do was guess the number of candies in our cauldron - er - jar. The correct number of sweet treats we were able to squeeze in was a whopping 135 pieces! After many guesses from staff, Brice was the closest with a guess of 123. He of course got to keep the cavity inducing jar to share with all his fave peeps.
Finally, who can forget our dress up day where we all slayed in our spook-tacular costumes as we wrapped up Halloweek with a Halloween-themed game of TaBOO. In AP fashion, there were plenty of prizes to hand out as whoever had the most votes for best costume received a $50 Amazon gift card. Plus, the winning TaBOO team received a catered lunch of their choice. Steve D cinched the remaining number of votes with his skeletal costume while our Candy Crew were able to better articulate their guesses in TaBOO. Congrats y'all!
With Holiday season being the busiest time of year for AP, it is always nice to make sure we still have a gourd of a time as we howl with laughter. Tune in to see what our Events team has in store for us in our next Holiday event! We'll try and lay off the puns as well but no promises ;D
